Good Morning World

I am still in bed being spoiled by my Honey. He is making breakfast in bed for me. :) I cant believe Todd and I will be married 2 yrs in May! Time flies!
I want everyone to know that God has been very good to us. We have a home, a place to sleep, clothes to wear, and most of all Saviour that loves us. We are very spoiled by our Heavenly Father who takes care of us. I would rather have HIM than anyone :)
So I have not informed everyone of what I am up to these days. I got a job at the beginning of the fall school year as a Teacher's aide. To tell the truth I liked staying at home but it seemed as if God wanted to me to do this. I was very reluctant at first and decided to talk to the Principle of the school, whom I know quite well. (She is the one who led me to the Lord almost 12 yrs ago). I told her where I thought God was taking me and asked if she would pray about hiring me. (with the thought in mind that I was crazy and that I would never get this job) Yeah well the Lord saw fit to give it to me. I was thrilled, suprised, and scared to death! I havent even finished school yet and I didnt see how this job would work out. I have been in it for a whole semester now and absolutely love it! I got to teach the 3rd grade for 6 weeks while the main teacher was out on maternity leave. I only work 3 days a week but I love every minute of it. Something about making the kids smile and have fun yet learn. God has truly blessed me to get to know these 14 wonderful kids. I have grown very attached to them. And I cant believe I am thinking this but I am super excited about one day having my own classroom!
Over the holidays I have had the opportunity to tutor a 3rd grader who needed help. She is very sweet but needs Jesus. I have been asked to lead her to the Lord on 2 seperate occasions but she doesnt get it yet. She still just wants to be good and does not see her sin. Please pray for her. Her name is Alexis Jacobs.
So that is my life in a nutshell. I am still trying to be housewife and a working woman. Not easy, but God is faithful. My hubby is very understanding and is ok with me working or not working, whatever the Lord wants. I try to take care of him as much as I can. :)

Good day!

Todd and I have been working on projects and random things around the house today. I am in the process of letting dough rise for cinnamon rolls. :) Todd is making me a spice rack that is underneath the counter. It is going to be awesome and I will put pics of it when he is done. :) Frisbee is sleeping because he is frustrated that we will not take him outside. I think he is addicted to the snow. Haha!
Read in 1 Cor 6 this morning with my honey and it is quite detailed. What I got out of it: my body is the temple of the Almighty God and I need to watch what I put in it and what I put on it. I am not mine own but His! There is so much more in that chapter but that is what I dwell on today.

We had a lot of fun today!! Got about 12 in. here and in VA Beach they got around 17 in. Tomorrow I gets to stay home with my honey all day. :)

SNOW

Wow!! We gots about 4 in. so far and still snowing! I have never seen this much snow in one winter. It has snowed I believe 4 times already and that is a rare deal for us. I have some pics that I will put on later. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
Todd and I stayed home from Church today because we are snowed in (at least in our minds we are:). Todd just finished teaching me his Sunday school lesson and it was very good. Job was a most interesting man and loved the Lord. Definitely a Bible Hero. Lesson learned: Do not let money control you. Job had tons of it and it did not affect him spiritually. God may choose to give some Christians money but that should never distract them from Him. I have a hard time with money so that is why I will continue to stay broke. I dont trust myself with it so I know that God wont give me any. :)
Oh by the way I have my clothes warming by the wood stove and I have never done that before and I feel super cool doing it. :)

Trip with the Puppy

Frisbee is so cute! He was loving all the sand at the dunes. :) He got it all up his nose and kept sneezing. Watching him trying to climb up the dunes was so funny! He would try to chase Todd and he kept sliding down. Then he would get mad and just lay there and not move. :) It was a lot of fun.

Blogging once again

Merry Christmas Eve!
Today I am staying in Pjs! I have decided that I have no reason to go anywhere so I might as well just stay comfy. The wood stove is keeping me nice and toasty. :)
Life in NC is good and God is blessing. Our little home is getting fixed up quite nicely. The red room is no longer red and it has been pretty much redone and the bathroom is almost finished. It has been slow progress, but it has been fun learning how to do all the different jobs.
Well I am going to keep working on making the blog look good. bye for now :)
