Beautiful Fall Weather!

I love it when it gets chilly outside!!! We just had a hurricane come through for the past 2 days and cold weather is starting to settle in now. Started the wood stove yesterday and it is nice and cozy in my house. :) Leaves are falling everywhere and the trees are beautiful around here!!

I am now 20 weeks pregnant and so glad I am halfway through! I am feeling good and trying really hard to watch what I am eating. I have gained 11 pounds thus far and would prefer to keep the weight gain as little as possible. Hard to say no to all the wonderful food but God has been helping me to eat better. I am not suppose to focus on losing weight but because I have been eating better I have lost a little. I hope to lose 1 pound this week so that I would only be 10 pounds heavier. My back is really bothering me this time around and the weight gain hurts it even more. Walking 2 miles a day with my mom for exercise. I feel I am exercising all the time though with chasing Christiana around. :)
Our little munchkin is now 1!!!!!!! Crazy how fast time flies!!!! Here are some pics...... (Christiana just woke up so I have to for now)

happenings

A lot has happened since my last post. We did not get the house due to finding lead paint in it. I am thankful they found it but wish it would have been noted sooner. God is in control though and has a reason for us staying put for now. Unpacked everything and went ahead and set up the new crib in Christiana's room. Tight fit with 2 cribs in there but it will work for now.

I found out Monday that I am 13 weeks prego!!! So excited to be that far, and hoping the sickness will go away soon. Missed church again tonight because of puking. :( It was sooooo neat though to get to see the ultrasound. Toes, fingers, and a nose already visible. oh and of course the heartbeat!!!! Truelly is an awesome miracle of God. :)

Doing a yard sale this weekend at my grandparents house. My friend and I have a lot of stuff we need to sell. I think it will be a lot of fun and hopefully make some money too. :)

Patience...necessary but hard in coming!

Thanks so much Sandy and Anna for commenting on my last post. As usual I cant promise anything but I will try to post once a week.

I go to the doctor on Monday to find out how far along I am. So excited to get to hear the heartbeat of this little one! I have been pretty sick ever since I found out I was pregnant. No rhyme or reason to my sickness but everyday at some point I am sick. Today is this evening. No church for me because of it. I would much rather barf in my own toilet than the ones at church. :) Waiting this long to go the doctor makes me oh so excited to find out all the info!!! Estimated I may be 12 weeks already, but I will find out oh so very soon!!!

We have a long hard struggle with house problems this past 3 months. We have found one that we love and are in the process of trying to close on it, but its seems everything that could go wrong is! For every 15 day extension that you have to get  (which is because our loan has still not gone through) (We had 45 days originally to get closed on it) it cost 375 dollars. We have now had 3 extensions!!!!!!!!! Patience is so very hard! I dont know whether to pack or not. I have started some boxes but I have stopped packing due to how long things are taking. Please pray that they will get everything done by the end of this 15 day period!!! We are running out of money to keep this up!!!!!

Our church just started a ladies Bible study, and we had our first get together yesterday. It went very well and I do believe I will learn a ton from it! Just the fellowship of ladies is extremely uplifting. I love my husbands company and my daughters giggles but there is just something about Christian Ladies with a desire to draw closer to God that puts a smile on my face. :)

God is Good!!

Since my last post......

We did not get the house we were looking, but God knows the right one for us. We will just keep looking! I got a tutoring job to help pay my way to Wisconsin!! That was a definite answer to prayer. :)

The Lord helped me read all the way through Deuteronomy and now I am in Joshua. :) One thing I notice the most right now is how Holy God is. He wanted the children of Israel to see it and fear Him, love Him, and obey Him. God also wants me to do the same. He has shown and is showing Himself mighty all around us and through His Word. Our God is amazing!!

Christiana is now 3 months old and doing very well. Sleeping through the night for the most part and Im sure loving it. :) She smiles and giggles and makes all kinds of noises now. She is a joy to have around.

Well not much else going on so that will be the end of my post this time. Hope all is well with everybody.

An update!

Well I do hope all of you are doing well! We are doing great! We put in another offer on a house. I am super excited to see if we get it or not. Many people have put an offer on it so we will see if they like ours the best. :) If not we will keep on looking.

My reading is going well. I will finish Exodus today and move on into Leviticus. Leviticus and Deuteronomy are the 2 hardest books for me cuz I dont understand most of it. I am hoping and praying the Lord helps through them and shows me Christ through them. I recommend for you to try reading the Bible like this if you have interest in reading all the way through. I am really enjoying it!

Today is a pjs day! Christiana is taking a nap and I am in the middle of making a rug! I will put pics up when I finish it. I was thinking about making a ton of them and selling them at this years craft show, but we will see how that goes. I get all these ideas in my head and then I get bored. haha!

Oh I am going to Wisconsin next month!!! My new nephew will arrive sometime around Feb. 5th and I am going up there on the 21st! I am super super excited to see my brother Paul, his wife Valerie, Charlie, and the newest Henry......woooooohooooooo!!!! I bought my ticket already but I would like to pay the money back into our account. Any idea on how I could make some moneys???? If you do please let me know cuz I would kind of like a part time job that I can do at home.

Christmas and New years

So we had great Christmas. My brother Micah was able to come and this is his alvin that he got. :)
Christiana did great with all the noise and excitement of the family! She was enjoying just hanging out with dad.
She likes her play mat that she got. It's nice to have a place to put her down to play. A blanket wasn't nearly as interesting.
This was before Christmas, but she was having fun. :) She would much rather have no clothes on and hanging out in her diaper. haha!

On New years eve we went to my brother, Jacob's church. He got to preach that night and it was really good. I am so glad God is working in him and Shera (my sister-n-law).

We are ready for a new year! Todd and I are going to read through the Bible in 3 months. I have tried the year thing and it never works but I heard that if I read 16 pages a day I can read through my Bible in 3 months! I am super excited to read straight through and God has been working on me about being in His word reading and studying. Love it!! This is going to be a great year!
